Who says KD is not nice? The reigning MVP had a soft spot for Anthony Cupp, a Detroit native who recently got mugged for his KD 7 sneakers. The story of the mugging spread throughout Michigan and eventually hit the front office of the Detroit Pistons, who in turn connected with the OKC Thunder (who were in town on Sunday for a game) and Kevin Durant to give the 13-year-old some good karma. Not only did get a replacement pair of KD 7 sneakers, he got an autographed pair of one of Kevin’s own, and even got to spend a few hours with Durant before the game started. Classy move by KD, the OKC Thunder, and the Detroit Pistons.
