Kyrie Irving recently became the latest member to enter the coveted fraternity of Nike athletes with signature sneakers. The Nike Kyrie 1 was unveiled earlier this week at a launch event in NYC, a platform that also featured historic releases from others with signature models. Kobe Bryant, of course, saw many of his pairs on hand, including the inaugural pair, the Zoom Kobe 1. Among the many in his signature line the sneaker community hopes will retro soon, if and when they do, the Zoom Kobe 1 Friend and Family “Home” PE almost certainly won’t be among them.
