A few years back, Kevin Durant talked about how he wanted a Foamposite version of his signature sneaker to arrive at retailers. It made enough sense – KD is from the DMV area, a region that championed the initially unloved basketball silhouette to prominence. Unfortunately, his signature shoe was implemented in the Nike catalogue to give consumers a more affordable option. How times have changed. With that Metallic Gold pair rumored to arrive at retailers for $170, could we finally be getting a Foam KD? Today we get another look at that Wear-test sample from a few days back, one that utilizes a Foamposite base while large ventilated perforations arrive on the heel. Here the shoe gets a unique colorway too, so this could very well be the Nike KD 7 Elite. Look below for a full image and let us know what you think of KD’s potential playoff shoe in the comments.
