Over the last two decades, James LaVelle and his Mo’Wax label has been a culturally transcendent platform that has not only reigned influential in music, but also in style forums, working with the likes of NIGO, Medicom Toy and several others. Not only does LaVelle enjoy style, but seemingly sneakers in specific with his favorite silhouette being the Converse Jack Purcell. So to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his brand, he pairs with the American footwear outfitter for a two-piece collection featuring the aforementioned sneaker. Consisting of both the Ox and Mid-Top, the collection begins with the Ox – employing a white debased leather upper with rubber toe cap and metallic gold heel. The Mid-Top, however, works in a stingray leather base in black which plays to the collections theme of “Build & Destroy.” Both models feature a similar gold heel and sockliners paired with translucent icy blue outsoles to finish.
