Dikembe Mutombo has been in NBA news quite frequently as of late regarding his hopes to purchase the up-for-grabs Atlanta Hawks. He’ll certainly have to get in line with other former players like Chris Webber and most notably Dominque Wilkins also looking to acquire the franchise, but if Mt. Mutombo and his team of investors somehow lose the bid to own the Hawks, he’ll still have his signature sneaker line to fall back on. Today, the adidas Originals Mutombo 2 appears in a monochromatic white and black colorway, releasing in correspondence with the models 20th anniversary. Fashioned in a white leather upper which sits atop black embossed underlays, a textile lining follows to aid in comfort and durability.
