The Nike Kobe 9 Elite NRG pairs shown here will be releasing exclusively at 21 Mercer and Dover Street Market in NYC. The sneakers will be up for grabs via an in-store only raffle that begins tomorrow, January 26th. The colorways include a white/volt/black that reminds us of plenty of previous Flyknit releases and a slightly more standard looking white/black with some reflective touches. Winners from the raffle will be contacted on Sunday, February 2nd, which suggests that these might be the first Kobe 9 Elites to make it into the wild. The exclusive KOBE 9 Elite in Black, Volt and White, and Black, Silver Reflective, and Grey, will be available in limited quantities in New York City.

The first basketball shoe to utilize Flyknit, the KOBE 9 Elite redefines the look and performance of the sport’s footwear bringing unprecedented power, strength, and flexibility to one of the game’s greatest players.
The one-piece Flyknit upper is constructed from strands of special yarn that essentially, notes designer Eric Avar, “act as a second skin for Kobe, engineered much like the design of a spider web.”
Both KOBE 9 Elite limited edition colorways debut on Jan. 26 and will be available exclusively at 21 Mercer and Dover Street Market New York. The Kobe 9 Elite Masterpiece drops Feb. 8 on Nike.com and select global locations.
