For a shoe whose name refers to a creature with an extremely short lifespan, the Nike Mayfly has been out there for a good while. Debuting in 2004 with its name a reference to the ethereal nature of its 4.8oz build (this was in the days before Hyperfuse, Flywire, or LunarLon, mind you), the Mayfly was suggested for use up to 62 miles. Here we see the silhouette gain a second wind with the Nike Mayfly Woven arriving in four monotone suede Quickstrikes just in time for the start of fall. Your choice of black, navy, brown or grey styles (the last of which is a new revelation) has all the neutral bases covered with each riding white soles, so check them out in detail after the jump, then hit your overseas connects because they’re available at select Asian retailers like Nike Harajuku.
