Many of Nike’s footwear products take their name from the cushioning or other technologies in use. That’s true here on this latest likely AP-exclusive runner, a design that also marks the first use of a bold new name. The Nike Zoom Wildhorse has the beefy midsole and rugged sounding name you’d expect from a trail-ready runner. This sole and other structural elements account for the fact that these have the same MSRP as the Zoom Elite 6 but do not share the Elite’s Nike+ integration.
