In the early 90’s, Charles Barkley was deemed “not a role model”. Next weekend he won’t be “human” either as Nike Sportswear gives the classic Barkleys the Area 72 spin with the Raygun mascot at the center. Last year’s formula is being copied in a way, with an old-school Retro model accompanying the highlighted Foamposite model, but what makes the Air Force Max different from the Air Flight One is that the latter was never re-issued, while the Air Force Max has been re-released several times. Is the energy surrounding this Air Force Max simply not on par with last year’s Air Flight One? There’s no doubt that these will disappear quickly off the shelves (some are calling the Air Force Max the better pick-up than the Barkley Posite Max), but let us know how these compare to last year’s Air Flight One ‘Galaxy’.
