Nike Hypermax – Marty McFly + Tennis Ball Edition

Nike Hypermax – Marty McFly + Tennis Ball Edition

When the Nike Hyperdunk premiered last year, one of the primary means of promoting the high-tech new ballin’ kick was the release of the Marty McFly edition.  Drawing on the Nike Mags that character wore in Back to the Future II, Nike released another 2015-inspired pair, this time in the form of a Zoom Tre A.D. Over the weekend, we found that this wasn’t the last pair in the McFly colourway, as a new edition of the Nike Hypermax is set to feature the legendary palette.

Seen first at a Sole Collector event and later posted by Ty from Chicago’s LDRS at NikeTalk, the McFly Hypermax features a metallic silver upper sans-Flywire.  The midsole is speckled, save the Air bubble frame in teal, and this colour is duplicated on the removable ankle strap.  We can also see a healthy dose of bright pink on the Air bubbles themselves along with the sockliner.  In another interesting development from Ty, it appears that there’s another new pair on the way in bright yellow and white dubbed the ‘Tennis Balls’.  Click the jump to see more photos and it’ll be obvious to you why that is.
