Last week, Complex hit us with an unofficial ‘Ten Commandments’ that sneakerheads must follow. One such rule was to not pay retail prices for kicks, which, quite honestly, has been a well-practiced guideline for decades. Complex is delving a bit deeper into the world of bargain hunting because they just came up with another list of how to get your kick game up while keeping your coin purse as fat as possible. We all have been hitting Nike Factory Stores for quite a while (heads up: Obsidian XII, White/Red IV, and Olympic VII are popping up), but need some more advice? One of the more obvious suggestions: become an employee at one of your most frequent shopping spots (like Foot Locker or a Nike location). One of the more trendier options: buy up a storage unit (thanks to those reality TV shows, who knows what you’ll stumble upon). What are some of your bargain-hunting methods? Be kind and share, because we could all use an extra dollar or two, and hit up Complex for their list.
