Over the past few years, Jordan Brand has introduced a few commemorative Air Jordan Legacy sets unifying the series across a single color theme. First came 2009’s all-white online lookbook, followed by a red-soled set that made appearances in late ’09 and into 2010. ‘The Love of the Game’ later birthed two distinct UNC-style Pantone collections (with and without lasering), but even those Tar Heel-colored designs kept to the familiar story we’ve come to associate with the Greatest of All-Time. Then earlier this year, a range that’s yet to be formally displayed made the rounds, as the Air Jordan Rainbow Pack covered the entire visible spectrum from Roy to G.Biv and back again. The Air Jordan XIII and XIV from that set are closest to Carolina blue, though against a dark background, it’s easy to see that the satiny Foamposite-esque uppers can lean toward a more royal shade. Stick with Sneaker News to find out if/when the others pop up with availability, and be sure to check out more photos and the sample currently available from brokeonjordans on eBay.
