Earlier this week Sneaker News gave you a nice detailed angle view of the upcoming Nike Air Force 180 High inspired by the original White/Black-Blue Emerald colorway. While the colorways are nearly identical, the obvious discrepancy is the lack of the Pump at the ankle collar, so let’s take a trip to the earlier days of Nike when this super high-top air pump-infused model reigned supreme; the Nike Air Force 180 High was worn by the Admiral David Robinson and featured the high-tech air pump to give the shoe a much more fitted wrap, allowing for increased lock-down stability. As basketball sneakers got less clunkier and more sleeker, the short-lived air pump was no longer used, making these 180 Pumps and the Command Force some of the rarest and most collectible Nike artifacts today. Finding a deadstock pair in this crisp condition is a rare occasion, so check out the gallery below and head on over to the auction from yzer450 on eBay.
