Sneaker customizer JBF is known for his specialty the Nike Blazer (and to a lesser extent, the Dunk Low), but his latest output proves it’s not just the Swoosh’s classic basketball models with which he can work that unique brand of magic.  Quite to the contrary, as we see his latest emanate from two other brands with headquarters in Oregon, one of whom happens to be Nike’s biggest competitor.  The adidas Pro Model High ‘Pendleton’ applies a vibrant woolen print from one of America’s heritage brands to the Blazer-like Pro Model silhouette for one of the most pleasing if understated customs we’ve seen in recent memory.  Longtime Sneaker News readers might remember The Shoe Surgeon’s ‘Pendleton’ Skytop III, and if so, you can’t help but notice the connection between models either originally created as or inspired by old school basketball sneakers, seem like the best ‘canvases’ for Pendleton’s wool products (remember their ACG Blazer and Valenki from late 2008?).  Check these out in greater detail below and let us know how they rank against the still-advancing custom sneaker market.
