Sample pairs of Nike Sportswear’s upcoming Gyle lowtop surfaced last week, a Bruin-like silhouette that adds a few distinct features that result in a unique finished product, especially for the copy-friendly lifestyle market. And because the Bruin was only offered as a low, we didn’t necessarily expect the kind of variety we might have were this an Air Force 1 or Dunk variant. So if anything, that makes the revelation of the new Nike Gyle Mid even more surprising, though its design could be described as simply as adding an eyelet, an ankle stitch and stretching the lows. This first look goes with the white/grey/navy/brown look that’s given several casual kicks a premium look this spring, and with a ‘FA12’ marking on the tongue tag, we expect these in stores come Q3. via Pyrophilly
