New Balance’s signature look is some combination of grey, white and navy done in suede and mesh, and while this model’s OG reflects that motif perfectly, the New Balance 1500 seems to have a higher proportion of high-impact colorways than most of NB’s classic runners. The Fifteen Hundred can easily handle being dipped in red, orange or purple suede, but these pairs put 1988’s flagship model to the test to see if they also excel with nubuck builds. These conform to that longstanding reliance upon navy and grey, but these pairs’ particularly dark execution with relatively bright and eye-catching accents sets them apart from the lot. Expect these at select retailers in the second half of 2012 and stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability. via HS
