The eighth installment of Nike’s partnership with the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital was unveiled in early October; six children were selected to design six different Nike footwear models – one of which was the Air Jordan IV Retro. Chosen for this marquee project was 11-year-old Isaiah Scott, who transferred his ‘Superman’ persona onto the design of the Air Jordan IV. This video goes in detail behind Isaiah’s design, which is also inspired by Nate Robinson’s insane dunk over Dwight Howard during the 2009 NBA Dunk Contest.
