In 1995, Nike released a special ‘City Series’ of the Air Jordan X, representing Chicago, New York, Sacramento, Seattle, and Orlando in five city-specific colorways (the Powder Blue, while resembling the Charlotte Hornets, is not an official part of the pack). While the release of each special colorway wasn’t limited to each respective city (some sneaker retailers at that time received all give colorways), the Air Jordan X ‘City Series’ proved to be one of earlier ‘limited’ releases of Air Jordans, which is why the upcoming ‘Chicago’ Retro in 2012 is so highly anticipated. Again, one such member of this pack was Seattle, which featured a basic White/Black colorway with green accents on the inner lining and the detailing with a yellow Jumpman on the heel of the outsole. Any member of the City Series demands a lot of attention and even more dollars, but we consider the asking price for these deadstock gems to be rather fair! Interesting the price? Check out the auction from Tokyo-based seller gustodaninja on eBay.
