High profile Air Jordan Retro releases typically hit store shelves on Saturdays with the occasional mid-week abberation, but if you were going to pick the perfect day each month to drop one of MJ’s classics, it’d have to be the 23rd, right? Turns out this month’s twenty-third day is a Saturday, so while 6/23 would have also been a good fit for obvious reasons, we’re just as glad that the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Space Jam’ is hitting retailers this weekend. Now obviously, Mike never rocked the SB Dunk during his playing days, but these are as close to the original Air Jordan XI design as any homage has ever come, including the $828 Nike Air Force 1 Bespokes we’ve seen in that vein.
