When your star player – a shooter for that matter – tears a tendon on one of his fingers, you might as well wave the white flag and call it a series, no? The Dallas Mavericks, down 15 with just over 6 minutes of play remaining, stormed back in the fourth quarter with a 20-2 run using timely buckets and ironclad defense. Led by Dirk Nowitzki, who claimed the torn tendon didn’t bother him, scored Dallas’ final nine points; a heady fast break lay-up, a tie-breaking three-pointer with Jordan-esque clutchness, and a lefty lay-up thanks to Chris Bosh’s overzealous defense of the fadeaway sealed the deal and sent the series back to Texas with all the momentum on the Mavericks’ side. For Game 2 not much changed in terms of sneakers; Dirk did his thing with the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 and Jason Terry rocked the Zig Slash (and gave ’em away to a lucky fan after the game). On Miami’s side, LeBron and Wade rocked their respective PEs of the LeBron 8 P.S. and Jordan Fly Wade, and Mike Bibby wore the Air Jordan 2011 Quick Fuse for the second straight game. With the series guaranteed to go at least five games, you know Sneaker News will keep you on top of all of the NBA Feet action, so check out the Game 2 recap after the jump! via Yahoo!.
