PUMA’s marks their 60th anniversary and with that there will be a good cause for celebration. In order to celebrate this landmark PUMA is throwing back and remixing some of their older models from the 1940s and 1950s, when they were getting their start. The pack of sneakers will consist of high tops and low tops that may look familiar to those who are well acquainted with the history of PUMA sneakers. The Arkitel 61 draws its inspiration from the first PUMA soccer boot that they have styled into a more modern leather sneaker with a nice mixture of seude and leather. The other is called the Rennschuh 2 and is reminscent of PUMA’s first spike track shoe that is also transformed into a modern low-top sneaker with leather and seude with rubber replacing the spikes on the sole. Both models are featured in both black and white colorways. These clean, contemporary sneakers are scheduled to hit a limited number of PUMA accounts in this upcoming week. via Kenlu
