Nike Zoom Penny Rookie Lwp 1

The Nike Air Penny line is without a doubt the closest thing we have to the Air Jordan line. Zoom Kobe and Nike LeBron still have a long way to go and a Retro releases probably will not happen for some time, but the Air Penny line is still widely popular even a decade after it was put to sleep. Nike introduced the Nike Air 1/2 Cent in 2009 – a multi-Air Penny hybrid shoe that is indubitably Nike’s most popular hybrid shoe to date. Talk about stretching your dollar; here’s a look at the next Penny-based hybrid shoe – the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP. It features a combination of Penny Hardaway’s earlier sneakers, like the Air Flight One, Air Foamposite One, and Air Go LWP. Breaking it down model by model, the upper ‘swiss-cheese pods’ come from the Air Flight One (one of the few Nike shoes Michael Jordan wore), the outsole and seemingly Foamposite upper from the Air Foamposite One, and the upper paneling/structure from the Air Go LWP. What do you think of this possible upcoming Penny hybrid shoe? Of course there are other colorways you’d probably prefer to see (Royal blue or a tonal black perhaps), but let us know what your thoughts are and stick with Sneaker News for more updates. via shoeguru222 on NT.
