There are few basketball signatures that naturally feature more texture on their upper than the Nike Zoom Kobe VI, so it’s particularly interesting to see how the ZK6’s signature snake scale design might accommodate another. Turns out that quasi-woodgrain and black mamba scales look great together, and they really serve to further the range of tones you see when looking at the ‘Black History Month’ Zoom Kobe VI. It’s a welcome depth with a relatively simple black/gold colorup only adding other colors on the heel embroidery, and makes us wonder how these stand up to the other BHM releases from Nike Basketball.
