Football supporters call soccer ‘the world game’, but at least here in America, no single sport has done more to unite the population than basketball. This game has even succeeded where the others have failed in sustaining a women’s league for fifteen years now. But it’s the men’s game that keeps the nation watching after football ends in February and Nike Basketball reminds us how much of a healing effect hoops have had on our country with the Black History Month collection for 2011. The BHM Pack represents a culmination of years of Air Force 1s and more recently the Zoom Kobe series’ MLK Day releases, its 8-model set comprising the entire top shelf Nike BB models except for the conspicuously absent LeBron 8 (V/2). The Nike Zoom Kobe VI is included though, as is Kevin Durant’s third signature, the Hyperfuse and several others, all of which you can see after the jump, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates on the rest of the BHM releases including the Air Jordan III ‘Black History Month’.
