Yesterday night the NBA celebrated World AIDS Day, displaying a league-wide unity by wearing red and white World AIDS Day warm-up gear and kicks. With players not restricted to their team uniform colors, we got a nice look at some great kicks. Starting off is none other than Gilbert Arenas, who wore the Air Jordan V Red Suede from the Raging Bull Pack. His teammate, John Wall, wore a tonal-red colorway of the Reebok Zig Slash, as did fellow Reebok representatives Jameer Nelson and Jason Terry. Down in Miami, one night before his return to Cleveland, LeBron James wore the Nike LeBron 8 ‘Un-China’, which features more red on the midsole as well as red borders on the carbon-fiber upper panels. His teammate Dwyane Wade wore the Air Jordan 2010 W3LCOME HOME while Juwan Howard wore a white/red/black Jumpman Pro Strong.
As expected, the red pair of the Air Jordan II ‘Candy Pack’ was a popular choice, as it was seen on the feet of Gerald Wallace, D.J. Augustin, and Mike Bibby. Rudy Gay wore a red/black colorway of the Nike Huarache 2010, and Vince Carter wore a similar colorway on a pair of his Nike Shox VC V. The Nike Hyperfuse, Hyperdunk 2010, Air Max Hyped, and many other sneakers were seen in the red/white colorway as well. There’s a lot more to see so take a look at the NBA Feet from World AIDS Day 2010 after the jump and let us know who rocked the best kicks! via ESPN.
