Air Jordan Iii Doernbecher Rmk 11

We’ve seen plenty of lasered Air Jordans, but it took a special 11 year old to expand the etching beyond your typical Jordan symbology mural.  The Air Jordan 3 ‘Doernbecher’ by Cole Johansen is the latest in a long line of kicks whose proceeds go to support the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon.  They’re almost entirely Varsity Red and feature Cole’s own unique pattern laser-etched into the top parts of the upper – and we even get a look at Cole’s favorite foots as graphics of a chocolate bar and spaghetti are lasered behind the heeltabs of both shoes.  Other key details include a translucent outsole and insoles that echo the ‘STRENGTH/COURAGE’ that unifies this seven year running collaboration. Have a look at some new photos after the jump and pre-order yours today from RMKStore.
