To celebrate the release of the Nike Air 1/2 Cent ‘Eggplant’ at SoleFly, who better than Anfernee ‘Penny’ Hardaway to launch the newest colorway of his mega-hybrid shoe? Penny Hardaway, who played his final season as an NBA professional with the Miami Heat, was on hand to meet and greet his fans as well as offer his mighty hand for a number of autographs. Those who just purchased a pair of the Eggplant Half Cents got the opportunity to get the shoes autographed, but other big-time fans of the most marketable NBA player of the 90’s not named Michael Jordan brought in some other Penny gear, like the Royal and Copper Foamposite Ones as well as some Orlando Magic fan gear and Penny Hardaway basketball trading cards.
