Kevin Garnett’s departure of adidas to join the budding NBA-player support of overseas-based sneaker brands left us asking a number of questions, the most common being of the “Why?” category. It could be about the money, or perhaps an opportunity to stretch out a personal brand into the Eastern Hemisphere – a region that has a huge NBA following. Here’s a look at Kevin Garnett’s first known signature shoe with Anta; while it may look more like a lifestyle off-the-court shoe rather than a performance shoe, we can get a solid idea of what his future signatures may appear like on a logo and colorway standpoint. At the center perforated panel, you will see a green Anta logo sitting on top of a silver graffiti graphic. The toe also features perforated leather, with the rest of the upper consisting of white leather – both matte and with an iridescent finish.
