The Nike Pegasus 2K5 Cools Off In “Tan/Glacier Blue”

The Nike Pegasus 2K5 is a sneaker of the past that’s perfectly suited for the present, sitting next to the Nike Vomero 5 among 2000s runners that speak to trending footwear aesthetics. While its 2024 revival has been celebrated by electric colorways that channel traditional Y2K runner makeup, this latest “Glacier Blue/Tan” pair follows a different path with softer shades that produce a more simplistic, toned-down look.

Tan leather sets the stage on the toe, tongue, and heel, while “Glacier Blue” peeks through a white leather cage on the lateral and medial sides. The forefoot and heel work in grey leather so as to break from the all-white mesh base underneath, complete underfoot with a white midsole atop grey tread.

Notably, this colorway shares clear similarities with the women’s Nike Vomero 5 “Design By Japan” that’s set to drop later this summer, albeit without the de-constructed hallmarks that make that pair unique.
