Nike Softens The Air Max Plus Drift With “Ashen Slate”

Nike Softens The Air Max Plus Drift With “Ashen Slate”

Nike’s efforts for Air Max Day has largely been focused on bringing the Air Max Dn to the masses, but is the Air Max Plus Drift the bigger hit? Nike’s latest re-imagination of the first-ever Tuned Air sneaker has been a crowd please from the get-go, and now that the silhouette is officially on the market, we’re uncovering new upcoming colorways that are poised for a release this Summer.

Arriving exclusively for women is a brand-new colorway of the Drift dressed in Summit White on the exterior and the soothing Ashen Slate blue as its base. That latter colorway may remind you of the debut release of Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 that launched over All-Star Weekend, but the bluish-grey Ashen Slate has been a mainstay in Nike Sportswear product for several seasons. Color contrast is key for the Air Max Plus Drift, and Nike did a worthy job pairing these two softer-toned shades.

Nike.com and partnering Swoosh retailers will release these soon with an MSRP of $185; see the official images ahead and stay tuned for release updates.

In other Nike Sportswear news, here’s an exclusive, first-hand look at the men’s Nike Air Force 1 Low 404 Error.
