Guo Ailun’s Air Jordan 38 Low Is Releasing In GS Sizes

Michael Jordan’s career and signature sneakers are two huge reasons why basketball is the global sport it is today, and Jordan Brand’s signing of Guo Ailun as its first international athlete in 2017 brings that story full circle. The Chinese point guard has been graced with a myriad of Jumpman PEs since then, most recently a teal-heavy take on the Air Jordan 38 Low. Now, we’re learning of Jordan’s plans to release that same shoe in kids sizing.

The design features all the hallmarks of the adult-sized pair that surfaced last month, only shrunk down to grade school sizing. Ailun’s signature teal color hits the entire shoe, interrupted only by a black mudguard, lining, and wavy gold/black/white stitched pattern at the quarter. The incorporation of Chinese characters on the inner tongue adds another distinctive element, complemented by Guo Ailun x Jordan co-branding on the outer portion to round out the look.
