Throwback Grizzlies Uniform Colors Dress The Nike Ja 1

Although the Memphis Grizzlies have done a complete makeover with their uniforms and team identity, the classic 1990s teal jersey still strikes that nostalgic chord. Nike’s treatment of the Ja 1 in the “Scratch” was such a huge hit for that throwback look, so fans who have that vintage fever should look forward to this upcoming pair of Ja Morant shoes in April.

Nike once again remixes that iconic Vancouver Grizzlies palette, opting for a primary base of Coconut Milk, adding accents of Dusty Cactus teal and University Red to add the perfect touches that nod to that throwback jersey. The khaki-colored heel matches the tongue label, which sports alternately colored JA signature logos. Adding that bear-claw “scratch” graphic on the midsole would’ve been a killer finish, but this lifestyle-friendly look goes hard regardless.
