The Nike Book 1 “Rattlesnake” releases tomorrow via Nike.com (not SNKRS) and select retailers, expected to be available in men’s sizing for $140. The snakeskin-on-white colorway continues the serpentine theme that’s marked the Nike Book 1 “Hike,” launched last month. Digging even further, the outdoorsy theme has been a constant motif on every colorway we’ve seen so far, so despite this being a more conservative take with the white-dominant palette, it meshes well with the model’s short history. You can find direct purchase links ahead under “Where To Buy,” with official Nike images and our original coverage intact ahead of that.

Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 signature shoe returns on May 11th in the “Rattlesnake” colorway. Nodding both to the natural wildlife of the Arizona desert and perhaps the Air Force 1 “Cocoa Snake”, this upcoming Book 1 release features a all-white leather upper matched with the exotic pattern on the Swoosh. Cosmic Clay orange accents appear on the tongue and heel.
Marketing initiatives surrounding Devin Booker’s first signature shoe picked up steam during NBA All-Star Weekend, the silhouette complementing the rollout of its debut “Mirage” colorway with a variety of brand activations and newly surfaced inline and PE designs. Now that the waters have been tested with two global releases, Nike and co. appear set to get more adventurous.
New images revealed by @bbb_ceo on Instagram showcase a “Rattlesnake” pair of Nike Book 1s, defined by a snakeskin Swoosh on an otherwise all-white leather and canvas base. Reptilian textures have been somewhat of a go-to for the Book 1 in its short-lived history, appearing notably on the “Clay Orange” pair that dropped at Art Basel 2023 in addition to a variety of PEs worn by Booker on-court. This design theme lends itself to two elements; the desert biome of Devin Booker’s Phoenix home, and the influence of Kobe Bryant, the “Black Mamba,” on Devin Booker’s rise to NBA stardom.
While no official details have been mentioned yet, early indications are that this newly surfaced “Rattlesnake” Book 1 will see a global release in the near future. In the meantime, enjoy a close-up look below.
