Fly Above The Rim: The Reebok ATR Pump Vertical Returns In White/Grey

An inverse take on last year’s release.

Fly Above The Rim: The Reebok ATR Pump Vertical Returns In White/Grey

If there’s one retro line that harnesses the spirit and innovative sneaker engineering of the 90s, it might just be the Reebok Pump. Beloved in the past for its then revolutionary inflatable air bladder surrounding the ankle, Pumps have helped write an important chapter in sneaker history, making their way into NBA locker rooms, Tupac movies, and even WWE rings.

In celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Pump Vertical last year, Reebok treated us to a “Black/White” capsule edition pair famously worn by Marlon Wayans’ character Bugaloo in Above The Rim. Now, President of Reebok Basketball Shaq and co. offer up an inverse take on the iconic shoe, this time featuring a primarily white upper set against a black base. Some gray hits appear on the tongue, Reebok logo, and stitched ATR branding on the heel, bridging the gap between shades.

Pump fans can pick these up now for $160 now directly from Reebok; see additional images below for a closer look.
