Updated April 24th, 2024: Detailed images of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Denim” just landed via JD Sports- pretty radically changing what we expect for this release. The underlying panels here shift to the same blue jeans shade as the overlays, slight bleach splotches throughout revealing the expected white hits. Given just how much these images differ from previous ones, it’s possible that each Air Jordan 1 High “Denim” will be unique, wearing 1-of-1 patterns across individual pairs. As this shoe is set to release this Summer, the answer to that question will likely be revealed in the near future. For now, check out the full image gallery just ahead.
The GOAT loves his denim. The rugged fabric has been used on Father’s Day tributes, women’s summer-time outfits, and even on an official level with a collaborative process with All-American icon Levi’s. In 2024, it’s back again on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG for Summer 2024.
According to this first look, the latest denim-clad Retro contrasts two shades of blue on the overlay against the ankle collar and the Swoosh. A bleached take on the material continues the Canadian tuxedo effect as it covers the toe-box and the mid-panel, showing the subtlest shade of light blue. Finally, the gum outsole steers towards the sustainable route via the Nike Grind rubber, visually perpetuating the rancher’s aesthetic. Unlike 2022’s Denim Air Jordan 1s for women, these forgo the typical frayed edges for a more clean-cut look. Classic nylon tongues and white sport laces wrap it all together.
Expected to drop during the second quarter of 2024, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Denim” will land at Jumpman retailers for $180.
