Jordan Brand’s retro roster for the third quarter of 2024 has begun to be laid out weeks ahead of the new year. Alongside the iconic “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11 taking on a low top trim, the iconic Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” from 2006 is returning in a revised monochrome colorway next fall season – according to Sole Retriever.
Following a third retro release of the OG “Tour Yellow” composition this past May, the iconic AJ4 is adding a second off-shoot colorway of the mid-2000s composition. Mirroring the same color blocking as its 2021 “Red Thunder” counterpart, the mid-top model explores a rich collection of jet-black nubuck that dominates the upper with a fervor. Bright shades of white take a backseat, illuminating the pitch-dark silhouette within the mid-foot window, midsole, tongue tab and lacewings. The sleek, minimalist color blocking is expected to draw far-reaching fan fair thats previously upheld the suit-and-tie aesthetic of the highly divisive Dunk Low “Panda” and the Air Jordan 1 ’85 “Black White”.
The Air Jordan 4 “White Thunder” is currently slated to release in Fall 2024 in full family sizing for a retail price of $215. In the meantime, stay tuned for a first look at the pair.
