Officially listed as the oldest player in the NBA, LeBron James is still setting accolades and climbing all-time statistical lists at 38 years old. During Tuesday night’s Play-In Tournament contest, The King added another historic achievement to his insurmountable career – becoming the first player in the League’s history to score more than 39,000 career points. To cement the momentous occasion, James simultaneously debuted a first look at the Friends & Family edition of the UNKNWN x Nike LeBron 21.
The Miami sneaker boutique co-owned by James first appeared within his signature line alongside the Nike LeBron 20 “Message In A Bottle” which saw the low-top trim explore suede-cured surroundings and a washed ashore aesthetic. In contrast, the LeBron 21 serves as a sequel with a matching rich suede construction dipped almost exclusively in a milk chocolate hue. Reminiscent of Malik Monk’s Kobe 6 PEs, the LeBron 21 amplifies the clad tint of its upper with color matches across the sole unit and heel counter while soft pink accents illuminate the trim of the profile swooshes and wash across the tongue tab, lace loops and speckled detailing of the midsole.
Enjoy a detailed look at the F&F edition of the UNKNWN x Nike LeBron 21 below while we await news regarding the Miami-based retailer’s second collaborative installment with James in the coming months.
For more on-court toolings, the Kobe 6 “Reverse Grinch” could receive a Shock Drop on SNKRS ahead of the pair’s release on December 15th.
