Nike Switches Up This Air Max 1’s Usual Branding

An otherwise straightforward offering.

Nike Switches Up This Air Max 1’s Usual Branding

Over the course of the past year, Nike has played around with a number of branding options. Their experiments continue with this Air Max 1, whose usual logos have been replaced with ones much more minimal.

Underneath its newly-applied icons, this Air Max 1 opts for a largely understated colorway and construction. The nubuck mudguard, for starters, opts for a “Light Smoke Grey” finish, matching that of the outsole as well as the Air Units. “Photon Dust” and “White” then dress the tumbled leather overlays and textile base, respectively, allowing the navy blues of the adjacent insignia to stand further out.

Enjoy a closer look at this upcoming Nike Air Max 1 via the official images ahead. These should be available soon at not only Nike.com but also select retailers.

In other news, Mcdonald’s Crocs should also be hitting shelves soon.
