The UNC Tar Heels basketball program is ready to kick off in early November, and you already know Jordan Brand is ready to outfit the young goats with some fresh footwear for the new campaign. Typically a rotation of signature models (expect the Jordan Luka 2 and Zion 3 as well as the Air Jordan game shoe), the UNC Tar Heels footwear is unmatched on the court.
Women’s basketball team athlete Alyssa Ustby already went ahead and gave us a first look at the Air Jordan 38 PE for the new season. It features a clean white leather and university blue embroidery pairing, with the NC logo proudly emblazoned on the left tongue. It’s possible that other colorway iterations of the Air Jordan 38 will be made for Away games.
Additionally, we can expect other Jordan Brand collegiate programs to receive their own Air Jordan 38 Player Editions as well, although none will likely ever see retail.
In other AJ38 news, peep the first look at the Air Jordan 38 Low recently spotted on the feet of Jordan athlete Brandon Ingram.
