Closer Look At The adidas Trae Young 3 “Core Black”

Closer Look At The adidas Trae Young 3 “Core Black”

Trae Young has been linked to blockbuster trade rumors this NBA offseason. And while nothing’s been set in stone, the young guard will wear the all-new adidas Trae Young 3 wherever he lands.

Unveiled alongside his father and soon, the third signature sneaker for Young is a complete departure from its two predecessors. A lightweight, textile upper keeps things straightforward, with laces working with sidewall loops to deliver increased lockdown. Plastic stability clips appear around the lower heel, while an angled rigidity component is housed within the sole unit. The greatest change to the Trae Young 3 arrives via the midsole: the cushioning solution seemingly abandons Boost material in favor of a layered foam layout similar to the adidas Adilette 22.

Enjoy an early look at the pair ahead, and anticipate an adidas.com launch come September.

In related sneaker news, the adidas Originals family continues to grow.
