Jovani Hernandez Bad Bunny has been slow to adopt a wide array of silhouettes for his adidas collaborations, but that seems to be changing.
The Puerto Rican superstar dropped an all-new design with the Three Stripes in February, expanding his sneaker catalog. Before 2023 ends, it’s likely Bad Bunny will launch the adidas Response CL in a “Core Black” colorway.
Having worn the model during CinemaCon Las Vegas in April 2022, the style would be the third Response CL released by Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio and the German sportswear brand. adiPRENE+ cushioning and the remainder of the sole unit reprises their standard roles, but the upper takes on a “melted” aesthetic courtesy of Bad Bunny and team. “Core Black” covers the majority of the pair, but a contrasting navy tone animates the 3-Stripes on the sides. “El Ojo” graphics on the spine also interrupt the pitch-dark arrangement, making the shoe a certified collaboration between the reggaetonero and adidas.
