Recently appearing via the feet of Emmy-Award-winning actor Giancarlo Esposito, MSCBF’s Big Red Boot has taken the sneaker ecosystem by storm with fake reps popping up across the world in production factories looking to mimic the reality-bending proposition. Having fully immersed themselves within sneaker culture, the art collective is now casting bright “Mint Green” hues across its Super Normal silhouette.
Inspired by the paneled aesthetics of 1980s basketball toolings, the creative cohort last rendered the latter model in a pitch-dark “5 O’clock Shadow”. In stark contrast, the distorted look of the upper’s tumbled leather overlays come doused in a crisp white blank slate with perforations littering the vamp showcasing a peek at the ensuing synonymous Tiffany & Co. tint. Further exploring the injection of vibrant shades across the quarter, tongue tab and sock liner, the sole unit returns the aforementioned “Mint Green” throughout its stitching, “MSCHF” branding and tread underfoot. Complimenting the Easter-harkened ensemble with light pink embroidery across the heel, a flurry of pastels fill the rope laces while accompanied by a silver metallic dubrae.
Scheduled to release next Wednesday for a retail price of $170, the draw for the MSCHF Super Normal “Mint Green” will open at 2 PM EDT on March 22nd and close at 10 PM EDT. In the meantime, enjoy official images at the upcoming silhouette below.
