Styles originally introduced via the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG — such as the “Chicago” as well as the “Bred” — have gone on to inspire countless subsequent releases. The Peter Moore-designed silhouette in its shorter trims, too, have borrowed the likeness of many of these offerings. And for 2023, we’re to see this happen yet again, this time with the much-beloved “Black Toe” colorway.
Appearing for the first time since it was leaked late last year, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Toe” reframes one of the Jumpman’s most iconic offerings. Though it may differ in its newly-selected base, the colorway here is not too unlike that of the original. In terms of color blocking, the pair is as close to exact as possible, with “Varsity Red” relegated to the outsole, heel tab, and heel counter. A white base lays just underneath, backlighting the black finish of the Swoosh and adjacent overlays.
Enjoy an early look at the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Toe” right here. According to previous leaks, a release is currently expected for July 28th. More details and better imagery are sure to surface soon, so sit tight and stay tuned for further updates.
In other news, official images of the Nike SB Air Jordan 4 Pine Green just surfaced.
