Ja Morant Debuts A “Reverse Scratch” PE Of His Nike Ja 1

Ja Morant Debuts A “Reverse Scratch” PE Of His Nike Ja 1

Fresh off the heels of exclusively releasing the inaugural two colorways of his first signature silhouette with The Swoosh at his Mt. 12 Skii pop-up during NBA All-Star Weekend, Ja Morant took the court Thursday night in the Grizzlies’ first game back from the midseason hiatus with a reverse take on the “Scratch” colorway of the Nike Ja 1.

Blending effortlessly with the team’s white away uniforms, the flipped Player Exclusive employs its former’s crisp white sole unit as the upper’s mainstay shade, accented by the turquoise-treated mesh mid-foot panel. Elsewhere, the jet-black claw marks across the forefoot and sole maintain their typical association in tandem with the grizzly bear-inspired brown tongue tabs and connecting Swoosh’s. Additionally cloaking its sock liner in a black arrangement to pair with the upper embellishment, the latter trim’s once bright red composition now extends across the heel counter and lace tips while the organization’s synonymous teal tint encompasses the sole unit underfoot.

While the aforementioned pair won’t receive a general release, enjoy an up-close look at the Nike Ja 1 “Reverse Scratch” via the imagery below.
