The Air Jordan 13 “Wheat” first debuted as a Retro colorway in 2004. In that year, it retailed for $125 and was available in mens sizes only. In 2023, Jordan Brand has chosen to deliver this classic colorway in full family sizing, offering a full range that includes mens ($210), GS/Big Kids ($150), PS/Little Kids ($90), and Infant/Toddler ($75) sizing. While the Air Jordan 13 debuted in Jordan’s final year as a Chicago Bull, the silhouette wouldn’t make its retro-infused return until six years later when the leather and suede pairing introduced its now iconic “Wheat” composition in 2004. Coating everything from the Air Jordan 1 and AJ 6 under its synonymous tinted collection to the clad wheat Air Zoom Generation, the originally harkened tooling is now expected to return for the 2023 holiday season.

Seen here via official Nike images, the upcoming proposition mirrors its nearly two-decades-old colorway through the tumbled leather uppers crisp white outfit and presiding nubuck overlays coming dipped in the workwear-associated tone. Denoting a stark contrast to the model’s predecessor dressed in a clad tan effort from 2017, signature hologram pucks come affixed to the heel while additional “Wheat”-treated branding along the tongue’s Jumpman insignia proffer further tried-and-true specifications.
