Currently averaging 27 points per game, LeBron James is having personal impressive season. And while the fate of his Los Angeles Lakers squad is uncertain, what’s known is that the Ohio-native has more special takes on his Nike LeBron 20 shoe in the tuck.
Recently, the Zoom Air-assisted silhouette emerged in a compelling color combination of black, gold, and silver tones. Reminiscent of a previously-released “Trinity” style inspired by James’ Miami Heat team, the unreleased proposition forgoes any ruby-colored flair in favor of an icy blue, semi-translucent outsole. A speckled, white midsole delivers some personality to the latest Nike LeBron, but the titular colors arrive via the stacked swooshes at the lateral profile. Pitch-dark knit layers complement the silver and gold profile accents, possibly telling a story close to “the kid from Akron”; could it be that the upcoming LeBron 20 colorway nods to the “P.S. Elite” series James and the Swoosh often unveiled in the NBA postseason throughout the mid-2010s? Only time will tell.
No firm nike.com launch date has been disclosed by the brand, but the pair is likely to drop in the first-half of 2023. In the meantime, enjoy an early look at the pair ahead, courtesy of Instagram user @kicksdong.
