It’s rather fitting that the twenty-third Air Jordan model returns in the year 2023, and what a way to kick things off like this elegant inclusion in the “Year Of The Rabbit” collection?
Originally debuting in 2008, the Air Jordan XX3 saw the return of Tinker Hatfield to the Air Jordan line, delivering one of the most unique designs in history. Capturing the essence of luxury and elegance, Tinker added a uniquely embroidered upper wing-tip detailing at the fore-foot, while Jordan’s own fingerprint informed the layout of the rubber traction.
For 2023’s Year Of The Rabbit release, Jordan Brand pushes the envelope by introducing a distinct stitch pattern on the leather upper, while an Eastern-themed logo appears around the Jumpman logo at the tongue. The Year Of The Rabbit logo appears on the opposite side, while the insoles are shaded in red, a familiar hue in Chinese New Year traditions. Remaining true to the 2008 design is MJ’s insignia decorating the toe-box and the chiseled midsole encasing.
The entire Jordan Brand “Year Of The Rabbit” collection is presumed to release in January 2023, with an exclusive drop of select pairs in China only. See the official images ahead and stay tuned for an official announcement.
