Sean Wotherspoon quickly rose to sneaker stardom in 2017, when he beat out 12 other “RevolutionAIRS” in Nike’s “Vote Forward” design contest. And following subsequent restocks of his Air Max 1/97, the Round Two head swapped his Swoosh for a set of Three Stripes. Since, the two have produced several collaborative offerings, the latest of which — a colorful pair of Orketros — is due to release very, very soon.
This news comes from Wotherspoon himself, who shared a final sample of the pair via IG. Teased regularly throughout the last few months, the collaborative model is comprised of many a bright tone. Pink, however, pops out most of all, as it dresses the mesh base that runs the length of the shoe. Over top and adjacent, many of the overlays and panels are clad in neutrals — black, off-white, and white — balancing out the blue, orange, and green accents that appear throughout the midsole, tongue, and upper.
