The women’s Dunk mania has led Nike to produce a glut of footwear options designed to bring the ’85 silhouette into the current era. While not the first women’s-exclusive modification of the Dunk (that would be the Sky High Dunks that transformed the shoe into a high-heel wedge), the contemporary designs focus less on typical women’s footwear and into the realm or rebellion.
The Dunk High Up is honestly a more subtle take in comparison to the Dunk Disrupt. It maintains the original silhouette, slightly skewing the lace collar and adding a shadow-like layer beneath the primary overlay. This new colorway is clearly targeted for the Fall season, as a mix of sepia brown, yellow, and light tan gets touched with a concord purple on the Swoosh and tongue label.
The Nike Dunk High Up will arrive soon on Nike.com for $120; stay tuned for availability updates.
