The Nike Air More Uptempo may not be celebrating a milestone anniversary this year, but it continues to play an important role within the brand’s retro efforts.
Recently, the Scottie Pippen-associated silhouette emerged in a classic mix of white, red and blue colors, perhaps inspired by the American Basketball Association and National Basketball Association’s primary colors. The majority of the pair’s upper and sole unit opt for a “colorless” arrangement that allows for the slightest contrast to pop that much more. Profile “AIR” lettering is bordered by rich ruby-colored flair, while swooshes at the toe and spine deviate in an equally eye-catching blue tone. Air Max units underfoot keep things simple, allowing for details like the two-tone basketball logo at the spine to steal the show.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.
